Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
FluxArt is a safe-for-work (SFW) image generation and editing service. This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions. It applies to everything you submit (prompts, uploaded images, settings) and everything you create, whether your generations are public or private.
1. Content that is not allowed
You may not use FluxArt to create, upload, request or share:
- Sexual or suggestive content, whether real or AI-generated: nudity, sexual acts, erotic or seductive poses, lingerie, underwear or swimwear as a focus, and revealing or sexualised depictions of anyone.
- Any sexual, suggestive or revealing content involving minors or anyone who appears to be under 18. We may report such material to the relevant authorities, and will do so where the law requires.
- Non-consensual intimate or synthetic imagery, including "undressing" someone, hidden-camera or voyeur imagery, or intimate images of any real person.
- Deepfakes and impersonation: realistic images of real, identifiable people, fake photos of someone doing or saying something, fabricated news or event images, or content meant to pass as a real person.
- Face swaps and identity replacement: putting one person's face or likeness on another, merging people, or making someone look like a specific real person.
- Using someone's likeness without consent, including editing photos of people you do not have permission to edit.
- Graphic violence, gore, self-harm, and hateful or extremist symbols or content.
- Illegal content and content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy.
2. Editing photos of people
You may upload photos only if you own them or have permission from everyone in them. A person being in a photo is not a problem in itself; what matters is the edit you ask for.
Allowed, for example:
- Technical fixes: crop, resize, upscale, sharpen, exposure, colour, background blur.
- Removing or changing objects that are not the person; a plain or removed background.
- An ordinary new backdrop (a beach, park, city street, office) with the person unchanged and nobody added.
- Changing only the colour or material of existing clothing.
- Turning the photo into clearly non-photorealistic art (anime, watercolour, comic, figurine).
Not allowed:
- Face swaps, identity changes, or making someone resemble another person.
- Realistic changes to a person's face, age, features or body.
- Making a real person appear to do something they did not do.
- Putting a person in a sensitive or deceptive setting: medical, police, court or prison, protests or politics, war, disasters, crime scenes, religious rites, bars or nightclubs, bedrooms or bathrooms, schools, or any specific real event, date or place-and-time claim.
- Uniforms or official roles (police, military, medical).
- Anything sexual or suggestive, and combining people from different photos.
3. How our safeguards work
- Every prompt is checked automatically before anything is generated. Requests that break this policy are refused and no credits are used.
- Uploaded photos are checked before they can be used, stored privately, never shown publicly, and deleted automatically within 7 days.
- Edits of uploaded photos are reviewed automatically before generation, and the result is compared with the original afterwards.
- Every generated image is checked before it is saved. Images that break this policy are discarded and their credits returned; borderline images are held for review, and their credits are returned too.
- Only approved images can appear on Explore or public profiles. Images made from uploaded photos are never listed on Explore.
- We do not use facial recognition, biometric identification, face templates or age estimation.
4. Enforcement
- Repeated violations pause generation for your account; continued violations suspend it pending review.
- Any request involving minors in a sexual or suggestive context suspends the account immediately and may be reported to the authorities.
- Trying to get around our safeguards (for example misspellings, symbols, role-play or "ignore the rules" instructions, or using other accounts) is itself a violation.
- We may remove content, suspend or close accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
5. Reporting and appeals
To report content that breaks this policy, or if you think a request or account restriction was a mistake, email support@fluxart.ai with the image or generation link. We review reports we receive.
